Boom lifts extend up and out with an articulating or telescopic arm, giving you horizontal reach to work over obstacles, around buildings, and into hard-to-access areas. If you need to reach up and over something, you need a boom lift. If you need a big platform directly above where the machine sits, a scissor lift is your best option.
